Yesterday a BrightSide client was contacted by phone from someone claiming to be “John” from BrightSide. He said he needed to “clear up overbilling issues of the credit card processing fees as reflected on your merchant statement in the amount of $850.00.” He is not from BrightSide, and if he calls he is trying to scam you.
The client handled it perfectly, sent us a recording of the conversation, and we reported it to the authorities. If you receive a call like this, please let us know.
